District Seeks Enthusiastic Applicants to Fill Various Open Positions
NORWOOD — Superintendent David Thomson is pleased to announce that the Norwood Public Schools will host two job fairs — one in person and one virtual — next week.
In-Person Job Fair: The in-person fair will be held Tuesday, Aug. 2 from 1-3 p.m. at the Savage Education Center, 275 Prospect St., Room 219. No RSVP is required, and walk-ins are welcome.
Virtual Job Fair: The virtual fair will be held Thursday, Aug. 4 from 3-4 p.m. Those wishing to attend the virtual fair are asked to RSVP to careers@norwood.k12.ma.us.
Attendees of both fairs are urged to have their resume on hand.
The district is hiring for many different types of positions, including:
- Teachers
- Paraprofessionals
- Daily Substitutes
- Long-term Substitutes
- Special Education Team Chairs
- Extended Day Instructors/Site Leads/Assistants
- Special Education Van Drivers
- Special Ecucation Van Monitors
- Food Service Workers
- Custodians
