Randolph Police Announce Additional Charges Against Woman Who Allegedly Stole Valuables from Elderly

RANDOLPH — Chief Anthony Marag reports that the Randolph Police Department has filed additional charges against a Weymouth woman who allegedly stole dozens of valuables from elderly residents in multiple communities throughout Norfolk County.

RANDOLPH — Chief Anthony Marag reports that the Randolph Police Department has filed additional charges against a Weymouth woman who allegedly stole dozens of valuables from elderly residents in multiple communities throughout Norfolk County.

ANNE ROSE FLEURANT, AGE 36, OF WEYMOUTH, is facing these additional charges out of the following communities:

Cohasset

  • Larceny from a Building
  • Receiving Stolen Property

Quincy

  • Identity Fraud
  • Larceny from a Building (Three Counts)

Weymouth

  • Receiving Stolen Property (Two Counts)

Because the case is an ongoing identity theft investigation, the charges were taken out by the Randolph Police Department on behalf of the Cohasset, Quincy, and Weymouth police departments. The case remains under active investigation.

The charges were filed in Quincy District Court and FLEURANT was issued a summons to appear for arraignment on June 1.

Yesterday, Chief Marag announced that the department is seeking to identify the owners of dozens of allegedly stolen valuables and hopes to return them to their rightful owners.

FLEURANT allegedly stole from residents at numerous senior assisted and independent living communities throughout the area.

In Randolph, she is charged with Identity Fraud, Receiving a Stolen Credit Card and Improper Use of a Credit Card following her arrest on March 29.

Anyone who believes they may be a victim in this case or would like to claim stolen property should call the Randolph Police Department at 781-963-1212 and ask for Detective Marc Abramson (ext. 135) or Detective Christopher Jones (ext. 122).

These are allegations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
