Goodnow Library ‘Magical Mania’ Children’s Book Tournament Week Enters Semi-Finals

SUDBURY – The Goodnow Library Children’s Department is excited to announce its ‘Magical Mania’ week three semi-final match-up for the children’s book tournament. 

Round Two of voting concluded Monday, March 14, leaving four books and two match-ups remaining in the tournament. Round three of voting for the “Final Four” books on magic and dragons closes on Tuesday, March 21, at 8 p.m.

Round 3:

  • “Dragons Love Tacos,” by Adam Rubin vs. “Where the Wild Things Are,” by Maurice Sendak
  • “Harry Potter” series by J.K. Rowling vs. “The Magic Treehouse” series by Mary Pope Osborne

A new round of voting begins each Tuesday at 9 a.m. and ends the following Monday  at 8 p.m. The top two books meet in the “Magical Mania” championship during the week of March 22-28. The final winner will be announced Tuesday, March 29.
