Concord Police Department Welcomes New Officer

CONCORD — Chief Joseph O’Connor and the Concord Police Department are pleased to announce the addition of a new police officer to the department.

Officer Brianna Rudolph was sworn in after a review and approval of her credentials by the Massachusetts Peace Officers Standards and Training Committee (POST). Officer Rudolph will begin her time with the Concord Police Department by undergoing field training, which will help her build familiarity with department policies and procedures, as well as the community she will serve.

Officer Rudolph grew up in Lynn and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 2014. She played varsity basketball at St. Mary’s and earned a scholarship to the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. Officer Rudolph received her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology in 2018, and earned her Master’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2020, both from UMass Lowell. As an undergraduate, she played on the UMass Lowell’s basketball team and served as team captain in 2018.

Officer Rudolph graduated from the Lowell Police Academy in 2019. She then served as a police officer with the UMass Lowell Police Department before joining the Nashua, New Hampshire Police Department.
