Southeastern offers 20 vocational programs for prospective students to choose from: Networking & Cyber Security, Culinary, Advanced Manufacturing & Welding, Precision Machining, Automotive/Collision, Electrical, Marketing & Entrepreneurship, Plumbing, Engineering, Early Education & Care, Natural & Life Sciences, Legal & Protective Services, Carpentry, HVAC, Cosmetology, Dental Assisting, Nurse Assisting, Medical Assisting, Advertising & Design, and Video & Performing Arts.
Following the Showcase portion, prospective students and parents/guardians will be able to explore the school further and learn about the other programs that are offered. Staff members will be scattered throughout the school following the Showcases to answer questions.
Families are also encouraged to go to the Media Center to talk to guidance staff and admissions counselors.
In addition to vocational programs and academics, prospective students and parents/guardians will be able to learn about Southeastern’s many athletic programs, clubs and activities. The school offers a number of fall, winter and spring sports, as well as clubs for academics, performing arts, community service and more.
“We are excited to welcome prospective students and their families for our open house each year to show them the benefits of a vocational education and the opportunities and experiences that are available to students at Southeastern,” Superintendent Lopes said.
