SUDBURY – Library Director Esmé Green is pleased to announce that two art exhibits will be on display at Goodnow Library throughout November.

“Animals” Exhibit

The “Animals” exhibit features pieces created by members of the Sudbury Art Association (SAA) from a variety of mediums, including paint, clay, fiber, photography and more.

Artwork hangs in the Community Room and gallery, while 3D pieces are featured in display cases around the library.

“These exhibits make the library even more colorful, vibrant and welcoming than usual, and I encourage community members to stop by to view the works,” said Director Green. “Each piece is special in its own way. I am amazed at each artist’s ability to take something simple and turn it into something unique and eye-catching.”

“BookMARKED” Exhibit

This exhibit features mail art that artists from across the world sent to Sudbury Art Association and A Lifely Read.

Pieces are featured in front of the Sara Sherman Now Lab.

Mail art typically includes small-scale works that can be sent through the postal service, such as postcards, faux postage, decorated envelopes, friendship books and more.
