Wakefield Fire Lieutenant Robert A Ford died Sunday after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 48.

WAKEFIELD — Chief Michael Sullivan and the Wakefield Fire Department announce the funeral and memorial service arrangements for Lt. Robert A. Ford, who died of cancer on Sunday. 

Wake and Visiting Hours

Thursday, Oct. 28 from 4-8 p.m.

McDonald Funeral Home. 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield

A firefighter walkthrough will be held at 3:40 p.m. Class A uniforms shall be worn.

Funeral Services

Friday, Oct. 29, 2021 at 10:30 a.m.

St. Florence Parish. 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield.

Burial shall be private.

Lt. Ford was 48years old and served the Wakefield Fire Department for 16 years. He leaves his wife, Michelle, and three children, Robert, Caroline and Michael.
