Nahant Police Respond to Two-Vehicle Crash with Injuries

NAHANT — Chief Timothy Furlong would like to inform the public that Nahant Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in the area of 233 Nahant Road on Wednesday afternoon that left three people with what appear to be non life-threatening injuries.

NAHANT — Chief Timothy Furlong would like to inform the public that Nahant Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in the area of 233 Nahant Road on Wednesday afternoon that left three people with what appear to be non life-threatening injuries.

Nahant Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash in the area of 233 Nahant Road about 3:50 p.m. Initial reports indicated one of the two vehicles may have struck a home.

Officers arrived to find a two-vehicle crash that sent one of the vehicles involved through a fence and into the yard of a nearby home, but no structures were struck or damaged.

One of two elderly females who were in the vehicle that ended up in a yard had to be extricated by the Nahant Fire Department. Both of the women were taken by Atlantic Ambulance to a local hospital, with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.

The other vehicle involved was occupied by two adults and three children. None of the children were injured, but an adult passenger was transported to a local hospital for evaluation of injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening. 

The crash remains under investigation by Nahant Police. Additional information will not immediately be released.
