BURLINGTON — Director Michael Wick and the Burlington Public Library invite residents to a virtual workshop series featuring Career Coach Deb Raymond, who will teach participants how to effectively use LinkedIn.
“LinkedIn is a great tool for job seekers or those trying to build their professional brand, and in today’s digital world, it is crucial to know how to use it effectively,” said Director Wick. “I encourage community members of all ages to attend to learn more about the site, from seasoned professionals to college students just entering the workforce.”
LinkedIn Basics: Build Your Brand
When: Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m.
What: Participants will be introduced to LinkedIn and will learn how to build compelling profiles with distinctive personal brands.

LinkedIn Advanced: Networking and Job Searching
When: Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m.
What: Participants will learn how to build and maintain strong professional connections on LinkedIn, as well as how to utilize these connections when looking for assistance with job leads, informational interviewing and more. Participants also will learn how to search for jobs and increase visibility with recruiters and decision-makers.

Raymond has more than 15 years of experience as a career development professional, including career counseling, employer relations and job development. She also is the founder of Career-Creations.
