LITTLETON — Chief Matthew Pinard is pleased to announce that the Littleton Police Department will be raising money to support those with autism during the month of April.
April is Autism Awareness Month, and a commemorative version of the department’s patch will be available to those who make a $10 or more donation to benefit the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism.
The Flutie Foundation provides financial assistance for families caring for a loved one with autism and educates the public about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Those who would like to donate and receive a Littleton Police autism awareness patch are asked to send a check for $10 or more made out to the Littleton Patrolman’s Association, as well as a self-addressed stamped envelope to:

All proceeds will be donated to the Flutie Foundation.
“We are glad to be able to raise awareness about autism throughout the month of April and give residents a way to show their support through a donation and this special patch,” Chief Pinard said. “I want to thank Deputy Chief Patterson and the Patrolman’s Association for helping coordinate this effort.”
Residents can also obtain a patch by bringing their donations directly to the police station.
