Three Crew Members Sustain Minor Injuries

BOSTON– Armstrong Ambulance reports that one of its emergency vehicles was involved in a motor vehicle collision today.
At approximately 1 p.m. a 2014 E350 Ford van belonging to Armstrong was responding to a call when it was struck by another motor vehicle at the intersection of Market Street and Western Avenue in Boston.
Three Armstrong employees were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash and were all taken by ambulance to an area hospital to be evaluated for minor injuries. No patients were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The ambulance sustained serious damage and was towed from the scene. The other vehicle involved was also towed from the scene.
The crash is under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.
