BRIDGEWATER — Town Manager Michael Dutton would like to share two videos the Town of Bridgewater has produced thanking residents and town employees for their hard work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“As we close out 2020, a year like no other we’ve experienced before, we want you to know you have our thanks,” Town Manager Dutton said to open the video thanking municipal employees. “At town hall, even when we switched to remote operation, the public never saw a difference in your delivery of quality services … We’ve always known Bridgewater is a caring and generous community, but over the past 10 months, you’ve taken it to a new level.”
In addition to Town Manager Dutton, Town Council President Shawn George also appears to give messages of thanks in each video.
“All across town, work continues, every day, despite the challenges of COVID-19,” President George said. “Thank you for checking on your neighbors, making cloth masks for each other, and donating food when others were struggling. Thank you for always asking what you could do to help, and then stepping up.”
The video expresses thanks to various Town departments, such as Public Works, Building Inspection, Library, Senior Center, Public Safety and more.
The Town of Bridgewater remains available to assist the public in any way during the ongoing pandemic. Residents with questions may contact the Bridgewater Board of Health at 508-697-0903.
