Georgetown Water Department Working to Repair Water Main Break

GEORGETOWN — Utility director Marlene Ladderbush reports that the Georgetown Water Department is working to repair a water main break. 

The water main break on Wells Avenue was discovered at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, and crews are working to repair the damage this afternoon. Residents of Wells Avenue and surrounding streets should anticipate service interruptions while work is ongoing. 

Georgetown Water expects the repairs to be completed and service restored by 7 p.m.
