COHASSET — Town Manager Christopher Senior is pleased to announce that the Town of Cohasset honored a group of 25 employees recently for their ongoing and dedicated service to the community.

Continuing an annual Thanksgiving week tradition, the Town recognized employees with more than 10 years of service. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the virtual event took the place of the Town’s regular in-person celebration.

Those recognized included five employees with 10 years of service, 13 with between 10 and 15 years of service, three with 15 years of service, two with 20 years of service, one employee with 25 years of service, and one employee with more than 30 years of service.

The recognition program can be seen on Cohasset 143TV on the Cohasset Common show.

“I want to personally congratulate and commend each and every one of the Town employees honored as part of this year’s program,” Town Manager Senior said. “Our typical program may not have been possible this year due to the pandemic, but it is important to recognize those who have given so much to make Cohasset the community we all know and love. In particular, I wish to recognize outgoing Building Commissioner Robert Egan for his 30-plus years of dedicated service to the town, and I wish him well on his retirement.”
