Following the disbandment of the Carver Marion Wareham Regional Refuse Disposal District (CMWRRDD), the Marion Transfer Station located on Benson Brook Road will be run by the Town of Marion beginning in January 2021.
Beginning on Jan. 1, 2021, the Marion Transfer Station will be open to Marion and Rochester residents only.
Admission to the Marion Transfer Station will be permitted only if a vehicle displays a valid Marion Transfer Station sticker. Marion residents are able to purchase 2021 stickers via mail. Directions for purchasing a sticker by mail can be found here.
