Town of Georgetown to Hold Special Town Meeting

GEORGETOWN – The Town of Georgetown would like to provide residents with several important details about the upcoming Special Town Meeting, and the procedures that will be implemented to help protect the health of residents who attend.

GEORGETOWN – The Town of Georgetown would like to provide residents with several important details about the upcoming Special Town Meeting, and the procedures that will be implemented to help protect the health of residents who attend.

Georgetown’s Special Town Meeting will be held on Monday, Nov. 16 beginning at 7 p.m. at the Georgetown Middle/High School, 11 Winter St. The meeting will be held in an outdoor tent set up on the baseball field.

The Town has implemented several precautions to protect the health and safety of those who attend the meeting.

In accordance with Gov. Charlie Baker’s orders, face coverings will be required for entry and must be worn at all times. Additionally, socially distanced seating will be provided. Couples and/or people sharing a household will not be required to sit 6 feet apart. Hand sanitizer will be available as well.
