MAYNARD- Fire Chief Anthony Stowers and the Maynard Fire Department would like to inform residents and businesses that the permit submission process is changing amid a continuing increase in COVID-19 infections.
To mitigate the risk of exposure, a locking mailbox has been installed for permit documentation to be left in outside the fire station’s entry door at 1 Summer St. All necessary paperwork should be included with permit forms upon submission, and upon review and approval, permits will be emailed to applicants.
Applicants must provide an email address with their application.
“We appreciate the community cooperating with us as we make adjustments in this ever changing health crisis,” Chief Stowers said. “This will be an efficient and safe way for us to continue serving the public while reducing the risk of exposure for all.”
All permitting forms can be found and downloaded from the Maynard Fire Department website by clicking here.
