DEDHAM — Town Manager Leon Goodwin and Dedham Board of Health Chairwoman Leanne Jasset would like to inform the community that the COVID-19 testing site, which begins offering testing in town today, will remain available through Thursday.
The state has added two additional days of testing on Wednesday, Sept. 16 from noon – 6 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 17 from noon – 6 p.m.
The full schedule for the testing site is:
- Sunday, Sept. 13 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (today)
- Monday, Sept. 14 from 8 a.m. – noon
- Tuesday, Sept. 15 from 2 – 6 p.m.
- Wednesday, Sept. 16 from noon – 6 p.m.
- Thursday, Sept. 17 from noon – 6 p.m.
The testing will be conducted by Fallon Ambulance at the Endicott Estate, located at 656 East St.
Testing is open to and free for everyone. You do not need to have symptoms to be tested. The testing is drive-through only and no walk-ups will be allowed. No appointment is necessary.
“We are grateful to state leaders for working with us to provide this testing site in Dedham, and to Fallon Ambulance for conducting the testing,” Town Manager Goodwin said. “We are urging as many people as possible to get tested at the site this week, and hope that the additional hours added on Wednesday and Thursday will ensure that more people will come to get tested.”
Dedham officials partnered with state leaders to bring the mobile testing unit to town in response to the recent designation by the state as a COVID-19 “high risk” community.
