Those who develop any symptoms of COVID-19, even if they are mild symptoms, should get tested. According to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), symptoms of COVID-19 include fever or chills, signs of lower respiratory illness such as a cough or shortness of breath, fatigue, sore throat, headache or new loss of sense of taste or smell.

In addition, those who are identified to be a close contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 should get tested.

Residents who would like more information on COVID-19 testing sites can visit mass.gov/covid-19-testing.
