CANTON — Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Fischer-Mueller is pleased to announce that Canton Public Schools has launched a brand-new news blog to serve as a hub for the latest updates, information and news about the district’s schools, students, faculty, events and accomplishments.
“Communication is going to be key as we work toward determining the plan for the fall and figuring out what the new school year is going to look like,” Superintendent Fischer-Mueller said. “We want this blog to serve as a one-stop resource for news and information announced by the district about CPS and all of our schools. We encourage parents/guardians to visit the site and sign up to receive email alerts so that when new information gets posted they will automatically receive it in their inboxes.”
The blog, cantonschoolnews.com, is integrated into Superintendent Fischer-Mueller’s Twitter account and will automatically broadcast news blog content onto her Twitter feed.
With a clean, user-friendly and mobile responsive layout, the news blog allows for easy navigation throughout the blog. It can be accessed on computers, cell phones and tablets. It also has a search function where visitors can search for different topics or schools.
Parents/guardians are encouraged to sign up for email alerts on the site in order to receive the latest news blog content in their inboxes.
Parents/guardians, students, staff and community members should still utilize the district’s main website, www.cantonma.org, to access the calendar of events, contact information, school committee meeting notices and minutes, important documents and notices and to view general information about the district and its schools. A link to the news blog site can be found on the district homepage by clicking on the “News Blog” button next to the “Registration” button.
