Lebanon Firefighter Suspended Pending Review of Social Media-Related Incident

LEBANON — The Lebanon Fire/EMS Department announces that a member was suspended today pending a review of content posted on his social media.

The Lebanon Fire/EMS Department had received several complaints regarding a social media posting by one of its Firefighters. The Fire Department has placed that individual on suspension pending an investigation into the matter.

The conduct of our first responders, on and off duty, is something we take seriously. The subject of the posting was not reflective of the values of the Town of Lebanon or the members of our Fire/EMS department. The Lebanon Fire/EMS department strives to provide competent, compassionate, and professional services. Public trust is something we value highly and work hard to maintain.
