Easton Police and Fire Departments to Hold Appreciation Parade to Show Support for Essential Workers

EASTON –Police Chief Gary Sullivan and Fire Chief Kevin Partridge would like to notify the community that first responders will be showing their appreciation to essential workers next week.

WHEN:

Wednesday, May 6 at 12:45 p.m.

The event will have a rain date of Thursday, May 7 at 12:45 p.m.

WHERE:

Staging will be at the Medical Office Building and Orthopedic Care Center, 15 Roche Bros. Way, North Easton.

WHAT:

The Easton Police and Fire Departments wish to show their appreciation to essential workers in Easton, including medical professionals and grocery store workers.

First responders will visit the town’s four supermarkets (Roche Brothers, Shaw’s, Target and Big Y), the Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center on Lincoln Street and the Residence at Five Corners on Depot Street.

First responders will meet at Roche Brothers at 12:15 p.m. Leaving Roche Bros., the route will be: right on Washington Street (Rt. 138), right on Main Street and continue on Lincoln Street to the Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center. The procession will then travel west on Lincoln Street, left on Bay Road, left on Cross Street, right on Depot Street past the Residence at Five Corners and left into the Shaw’s parking lot. The procession will then exit the Shaw’s plaza and turn left on Depot Street and right on Foundry Street (Rt. 106) and end at Big Y and Target.
