Rochester Waste Management Extends Residential Drop-Off Facility Hours

ROCHESTER — City Manager Blaine Cox wishes to notify residents that the city’s Waste Management residential drop-off facility is extending its hours for the week of March 23 to accommodate additional residential trash due to COVID-19 home quarantine.

The facility will be open on Tuesday, March 24 and Thursday, March 26 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in addition to regular hours. The city is also waiving the sticker and bag fees normally required for drop-off.

Residents are encouraged to bring all excess trash to the drop-off facility at 155 Turnkey Way.

The facility’s regular hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The city will continue to asses the need for additional hours for the coming weeks.
