On Monday, Feb. 17, students throughout the school took part in a variety of activities all related to the number 100. The activities covered multiple subject areas, including art, reading, math, science and more.
Activities included cutting out 100 different shapes to use for arts and crafts projects, writing challenges with 100-word answers, math races for counting to 100 by 5’s and 10’s, dressing up like a 100-year-old, planning and building towers of 100 plastic cups and other STEM activities.
“The 100th day of school has always been an exciting day to celebrate with staff and students each school year,” Principal Yacek said. “The students look forward to a variety of activities throughout the day. The excitement in our building around the 100th day is contagious.”
