HULL — The Hull School Committee reports that Superintendent Michael Devine has been placed on administrative leave until further notice.
The school committee held a meeting in executive session Wednesday night to determine the status of Devine’s role as superintendent. On Monday, Feb. 3, the school committee announced that Devine had taken a leave of absence and was relieved of his duties following allegations of recent personal misconduct by Devine brought forward to the school committee.
The Hull School Committee has retained an independent outside investigator through John Guilfoil Public Relations LLC and its Standards Division to conduct an administrative review of the facts and circumstances of the allegations against Devine.
Assistant Superintendent Judith Kuehn assumed the role of Acting Superintendent on Monday.
Because this is a personnel matter, no further information will be released at this time.
Correction: This press release previously omitted that John Guilfoil Public Relations LLC was hired to facilitate the administrative review.
