WAKEFIELD — Executive Director Margie Daniels is excited to announce that Massachusetts Partnerships for Youth will host the “Thriving in the Age of Digital Distraction” conference in Newton later this month.
“We’re seeing more and more students struggle to find balance between real life and online life,” Executive Director Daniels said. “We hope those who attend the conference will leave feeling ready to help students navigate through the digital world and become productive digital citizens.”

WHAT:
Law enforcement and school district professionals from throughout Massachusetts are invited to attend this conference which is designed to provide them with the skills and tools to help students navigate digital distraction and addiction, and ease the detrimental impacts social media can have on their lives.
The event will feature three presentations titled “Making the Virtual Virtuous,” “Social Media’s Impact on Mental Health” and “Listening to Gen Z: The LookUp Challenge.” Speakers include psychologists, doctors and experts on digital well-being.
The conference is free for members and $100 for non-members.
