EASTON — Chief Kevin Partridge reports that the Easton Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle crash and a separate crash involving a pedestrian late Friday night.
At approximately 10 p.m., Easton Fire responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash on Belmont Street at the Stonehill College entrance.
A 46-year-old female was flown by medical helicopter from the scene to Bringham and Women’s Hospital with injuries that are believed serious but not life threatening. The women’s three passengers, children ages 10, nine and seven were transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center with injuries that are non-life threatening.
The driver of the second vehicle did not report any injuries.
The Easton Police Department and the Stonehill College Police Department also responded to the scene and the crash is under further investigation.
At approximately 10:30 p.m., Easton Fire responded to Maguire’s Restaurant, 503 Foundry St. in North Easton, for a report of a woman who was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot.
The 26-year-old female victim was suffering from severe injuries to her lower legs. She was transported by ambulance to Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School and then flown by medical helicopter to Tufts Medical Center with injuries that are believed to be serious but not life threatening.
This incident is also under investigation by the Easton Police Department.
The Stoughton Fire Department assisted with station coverage while Easton Fire responded to both scenes.
No further information is available at this time. An update will be provided as information becomes available.
