Whitman Police to Participate in National Coffee with a Cop Day Tomorrow

WHITMAN — Chief Timothy Hanlon is pleased to invite residents to join members of the Whitman Police Department for their upcoming Coffee With A Cop events to celebrate National Coffee with a Cop Day tomorrow.

WHEN:

Wednesday, Oct. 2 from 7-9 a.m. and 9-11 a.m.

WHERE:

• Dunkin Donuts, 811 Bedford St. (Route 18), from 7-9 a.m.
• Restoration Coffee, 401 South Ave., from 9-11 a.m.

• Marylou’s Coffee, 564 Washington St., from 9-11 a.m.

WHAT:

Members of the community are encouraged to join the Whitman Police Department for a group of informal gatherings over coffee tomorrow. The gatherings will give residents and officers a chance to meet and interact with one another, as well as an opportunity for residents to ask questions and express any concerns they may have.

“Anytime we get to sit down and speak one-on-one with our residents in a relaxed setting like at the coffee shop is great,” Chief Hanlon said. “I have participated in past Coffee with a Cop events in town, but this will be my first one as chief. I am really looking forward to it.”
