Crews Working to Repair Groveland Water Main Break

GROVELAND — Superintendent Colin Stokes reports that the Groveland Water and Sewer Department is working to repair a water main break that occurred this afternoon.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., Groveland Water and Sewer crews responded to Main Street in the area of King Street following a water main break. Crews are actively working to correct the issue, but the department advises residents in the area that they should expect low water pressure and discolored water while repair work is ongoing.

Groveland Water and Sewer tentatively anticipates the main break will be repaired by early evening. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area throughout the afternoon.
