Salem Police Department Charges Dump Truck Driver Following Three-Vehicle Crash Involving School Bus

SALEM — Deputy Chief Joel Dolan reports that the Salem Police Department is charging the driver of the dump truck in last week’s crash involving a school bus.

Salem Police Department Charges Dump Truck Driver Following Three-Vehicle Crash Involving School Bus

SALEM — Deputy Chief Joel Dolan reports that the Salem Police Department is charging the driver of the dump truck in last week’s crash involving a school bus.

JEREMY MCNALLY, 37, OF CONCORD, has been charged with Negligent Driving after the dump truck he was driving rear-ended a pickup truck, which then collided with the back of a school bus on Aug. 1 in the area of North Broadway (Route 28) near Lake Street.

There were 21 people who sustained non-life threatening injuries from the crash, including 17 children and four adults.

The bus was transporting 43 people at the time of the crash, who were associated with a private summer camp.

Deputy Chief Dolan would like to thank the New Hampshire State Police Troop G for their assistance during the investigation.

MCNALLY is scheduled to appear in the 10th Circuit Court District Division Salem on Sept. 23.
