Active Duty Rockport Fire Lt. Kris Juncker Jr. Dies after Battling Lung Disease

Firefighter Juncker, Age 38, Served Rockport Fire for 20 Years

ROCKPORT — Fire Chief James Doyle regrets to report the active duty death of Rockport Fire Department Lt. Kris Juncker Jr.

Lt. Juncker was 38 years old and had served the Rockport Fire Department for more than 20 years, joining the department at age 18. He fought a long battle with lung disease and died Sunday at a Boston hospital. He leaves his wife Jessica and father, Kris Juncker Sr.

Arrangements are still pending and will be announced when they are finalized.
