Bedford Police Investigating Fatal Single Vehicle Crash

BEDFORD — Chief John J. Bryfonski reports that the Bedford Police Department is investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash.

On Monday, Nov. 26, at approximately 7 p.m., Bedford Police and Fire responded to a single vehicle crash on Route 114 at the southbound lane guardrail just north of White Avenue. Upon arrival, rescuers found an unresponsive male driver in a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder.

The driver was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was then transported to a Boston area hospital where he died on Wednesday.

The diver is identified as Robert Daly, age 49, of Bedford.

The incident remains under investigation by the Bedford Police Department, which is asking that any motorists who may have witnessed the crash or have information on Daly’s activities on Nov. 26 to contact Officer Timothy Carter at 603 472-5113.
