Andover Ruled Out as Possible Location of Origin after Infant’s Remains Found at Connecticut Recycling Plant

ANDOVER — Chief Patrick Keefe reports that Andover has been ruled out as a possible area where a newborn baby could have originated after the Stamford, Connecticut Police Department discovered the infant’s remains in a recycling center last week.

On Oct. 16, a deceased newborn was discovered at City Carting and Recycling in Stamford. Police determined that material was dropped off from companies that operate in several areas, including Andover.

Stamford Police have informed the Andover Police Department that Andover has been ruled out as potential area of origin due to the timeline of when the recycling materials were processed at the center in Connecticut.
