Kearsarge High School to Perform ‘The Addams Family’ Musical
NORTH SUTTON — Principal Robert Bennett would like to invite the community to attend Kearsarge Regional High School’s fall musical production of “The Addams Family” next month.
WHEN:
Nov. 9-10 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 11 at 2 p.m.
WHERE:
High school auditorium, 457 North Road, North Sutton
WHAT:
Members of Kearsarge Regional High School’s drama club have been working hard to prepare for their production of “The Addams Family.” The musical is an interpretation based off of Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice’s book.
The show tells the story of Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, who has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother.
Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before: keep a secret from his wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents.
“Guests are sure to have a great time watching this production, especially for those who grew up with The Addams Family,” said club adviser Sandra Nelson. “The costumes and set are fantastic, students are energetic and we’re excited to bring this show to life.”
Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door. They can be purchased beforehand here.
