Taunton Fire Department to Host Open House Next Week

TAUNTON — Chief Timothy Bradshaw is pleased to announce that the Taunton Fire Department will be hosting an open house next week.

“This is one of our favorite events of the year and we love having all of the kids at the station,” Chief Bradshaw said. “We hope for a great turnout and look forward to seeing everyone next week.”

WHEN:

Wednesday, Oct. 3, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

WHERE:

Taunton Fire Department, Oakland Fire Station, 49 North Walker St.

WHAT:

Join the members of the Taunton Fire Department for their annual open house for city elementary school kids and their families and friends.

The event is free and open to all members of the public and refreshments will be served.

Kids will be able to climb through fire trucks and meet with Taunton firefighters. There will be a fire hose demonstration and other activities.

In addition, a table will be set up with informational materials about fire safety.
