Rockport Police Investigating Man Seen Peering Into Motel Window

ROCKPORT — Chief John Horvath reports that the Rockport Police Department is actively investigating an incident where a man was seen peering into the window of woman’s motel room late last week.

At approximately 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 14, Rockport Police responded to the Eagle House Beachside Motel, 10 Beach St., after a woman reported that she saw a man with his face pressed against the screen of her room window.

Officers immediately responded and began to search the area. The woman told police that the man appeared to be bald or balding. She was unable to provide a further description.

After a lengthy search of the area in multiple locations, no man was found fitting the description that the woman gave.

Rockport Police have been actively investigating this incident since Friday and are asking for the public’s assistance to help identify the suspect.

Anyone who has seen suspicious activity in the area or has information about this incident is asked to call the Rockport Police at 978-546-1212.
