Rochester Now Accepting Online Property Tax Payments
ROCHESTER — City Manager Daniel Fitzpatrick and Deputy City Manager Blaine Cox are pleased to announce that the City of Rochester can now accept property tax payments online.
Through its new Citizen Self Service feature, property owners may pay their property tax bills on the city’s website. Taxpayers will also be able to view their payment history on the site.
“Citizen Self Service allows us to modernize our tax collection system and make it much more convenient for property owners,” Deputy City Manager Cox said. “I’m grateful for all of the work that went into developing this system and making it available to residents and businesses.”
Online tax payments can be made by clicking here. There is a fee associated with making payments online, with a one percent charge on debit card payments, a 2.45 percent fee for credit card payments and a flat $1.50 charge for E-Checks. The minimum service fee for credit and debit card payments is $2.95.
