Holbrook Police Promote Officer Andrew Martins to Sergeant

HOLBROOK — Chief William Smith is pleased to announce that Holbrook Police Officer Andrew Martins was promoted to the rank of sergeant this week.

“I am very proud and happy to have Sgt. Martins as a member of the command staff for the Holbrook Police,” Chief Smith said. “His continued professional and dedicated service is a great asset to the department and the town.”

Sgt. Martins has been with the Holbrook Police Department since 2001. He is the department’s firearms licensing officer and certified firearms instructor. He also serves on the motorcycle unit for the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council (MetroLEC).

Sgt. Martins was sworn in at a ceremony at the Holbrook Board of Selectmen meeting on Wednesday.
