Winthrop Police Arrest Man For Allegedly Selling Cocaine in Town

WINTHROP — Chief Terence M. Delehanty reports that the Revere-Winthrop Drug and Gang Task Force has charged a man with multiple counts of allegedly selling cocaine.

JUAN BERRIOS JR., AGE 42, OF LYNN was charged with:

  • Distributing a Class B Drug (Cocaine) (Four Counts)
  • Possession to Distribute a Class B Drug (Cocaine)

On Monday, June 4, Revere and Winthrop Police, arrested BERRIOS in Revere.

The investigation began after the Task Force identified BERRIOS  as an individual making drug deliveries in both Winthrop and Revere.

As part of the subsequent investigation, BERRIOS allegedly sold cocaine to an undercover police detective multiple times.

In total, about $320 worth of cocaine and approximately $1500 cash was seized as evidence during the arrest.

BERRIOS was arraigned earlier this week at Chelsea District Court.

These are allegations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
