Shrewsbury Fire Honor Guard Presents Colors at Red Sox Game
SHREWSBURY — Chief James Vuona is pleased to announce that the Shrewsbury Fire Department Honor Guard presented the colors during the singing of the national anthem at the Red Sox game last night.
Capt. Frank Ludovico and Firefighters Brendan Palumbo, Kevin Weigold, Tim Parmenter and Nick Vincequere presented the United States flag before last night’s game against the Detroit Tigers at Fenway Park.
“This was an incredible honor for our department and I am so proud of the members who represented us during the Red Sox game last night,” Chief Vuona said.
The Red Sox won the game 7-1.
Shrewsbury Fire’s Honor Guard participates in a number of events throughout the year including parades, memorial services, departmental ceremonies and funerals.
