Bedford, N.H. Police to Host Annual Bike Rodeo

BEDFORD, N.H. — Chief John J. Bryfonski is pleased to announce that the Bedford Police Department will be hosting its annual bike rodeo later this month.

WHEN:

Sunday, May 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

WHERE:

Bedford High School, 47 Nashua Road

WHAT:

The Bedford Police Department’s seventh annual bike rodeo will include an obstacle course for kids, helmet giveaways, and residents can get to know Bedford Police officers and learn about bicycle safety and the rules of the road.

Attendees can also enjoy free pizza while they watch Bedford Police officers perform bicycle and motorcycle demonstrations.

Immediately following the rodeo, children can ride their bikes in the Town of Bedford Memorial Day Parade which begins at 1 p.m. at Bedford High School. The parade will continue down County Road and end at the McKelvie School on Liberty Hill Road. There will be a ceremony at the school and the Bedford Men’s Club will serve refreshments.
