Greater Lawrence Tech to Hold Third Annual Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament 

ANDOVER — Superintendent John Lavoie is pleased to announce that GLTS will be holding its third annual Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament this summer, and encourages players to register.

WHEN:

Friday, Aug. 3

Registration is at 7 a.m., with a shotgun start at 7:45 a.m.

WHERE:

Merrimack Valley Golf Club, 210 Howe St., Methuen

WHAT:

This year, the GLTS Alumni Association will be honoring state Rep. Frank Moran, Class of 1989. As a graduate of the school, Rep. Moran is not only a strong supporter of technical education, but is a community leader dedicated to many organizations throughout the region.

GLTS will also be raising money through a silent auction, raffle and prizes. Individuals can participate by golfing, becoming a sponsor or donating a prize. All proceeds from the tournament will be used for student programs and scholarships.

Tournament fees are $150 per golfer and include:

• Greens fee
• Golf cart
• Golfer’s gift
• Coffee and pastries
• Buffet lunch

“We are excited to be holding our third annual golf tournament and we hope community members can join us this year for a fun filled day of golf, good food and great memories,” Superintendent Lavoie said. “For those who are unable to participate, we encourage you to support GLTS students by becoming a sponsor.”
