West Newbury Police Department Seeks Full-Time Officer

WEST NEWBURY — Chief Art Reed announces that the West Newbury Police Department seeks to hire a full-time patrol officer.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma (college degree preferred) and a valid driver’s license, reside within 15 miles of West Newbury after they’re hired, and score 70 percent or higher on a written test.

Reserve officers who wish to apply must have at least one year of experience in that capacity, and preference will be given to officers who are full-time certified.

A preliminary application can be found on the West Newbury Police Department’s website. Applications and job descriptions are also available at the West Newbury Safety Complex.
