North Andover Board of Health to Host Presentation about the Flu at Meeting Tonight

NORTH ANDOVER – As the flu and influenza-like illnesses continue to spread throughout the region, the North Andover Public Health Department announces that it will be hosting a presentation about the flu at the Board of Health meeting tonight.

The Andover Board of Health meeting will be held on Thursday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall, 120 Main St., in the second floor selectman’s meeting room.

Catherine Elie, DNP, FNP-BC, will be speaking about influenza including important things to know about the virus, how to prevent it and what to do if you get sick.

Residents are invited to tune into GOVCam North Andover to watch the presentation live or visit northandoverma.gov/health to view the discussion at a later date. Comcast customers can view the presentation on channel 8 and Verizon customers can view the presentation on channel 26.
