Avon Middle-High School to Host Prom Dress Sale

Gently Used Dresses to be Sold for $15 and $20

AVON — Principal Dawn Stockwell is pleased to announce that Avon Middle-High School will host a prom dress sale this weekend, featuring gently used dresses at a significantly reduced cost.

WHEN: 

Saturday, Feb. 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

WHERE:

Avon Middle-High School, 287 West Main St.

WHAT:

The Avon Middle-High School Student Council has been collecting dress donations over the past several weeks and they have over 40 that will be on sale this weekend. There will be a wide variety of dress colors, styles and sizes available for purchase. Proceeds from the event, which is in its first year, will go toward future Student Council activities.

Short dresses will be sold for $15, and long dresses will be $20.

“This is a great opportunity to for students to get a beautiful dress for a fraction of the cost they would pay at a retail store,” Principal Stockwell said. “We encourage anyone who hasn’t already purchased a dress for prom to stop by.”
