Photos: Gloucester Police and Fire Departments Recognize New and Promoted Members

GLOUCESTER — Fire Chief Eric Smith and Interim Police Chief John McCarthy are pleased to announce that the Gloucester Police and Fire Departments each promoted several members and also welcomed new members at a badge pinning ceremony last night.

During the ceremony, held at City Hall, the chiefs and Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken recognized the Gloucester police officers and firefighters for earning promotions, and swore in a new police officers and multiple new firefighters to serve the city’s residents.
