Whittier Tech to Hold Winter Concert Featuring Traditional and Contemporary Tunes

Performers to Include Students from Haverhill, Merrimac, Methuen, Newburyport and Rowley

HAVERHILL – Superintendent Maureen Lynch would like to invite the community to begin celebrating the holidays a little early with Whittier Tech’s annual Winter Concert.

WHEN:

Thursday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m.

WHERE:

Whitter Technical School, 115 Amesbury Line Road, in the auditorium

WHAT:

As part of Whittier’s Winter Concert, chorus members, which include students in grades nine through 12, will perform traditional and contemporary songs for audience members. These include “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” “Put a Little Love in Your Heart,” “Imagine,” and “Holly Jolly Christmas.”

Members of the chorus are:

  • Seniors Rachel Bevelaqua, of Merrimac, Kourin Breen, of Methuen, Rebecca Miller, of Rowley, and Matthew Scharn, of Haverhill.
  • Juniors Melisa Cepeda, Brittany Chaput and Lilly McCormick, all of Haverhill, and Zach Depaolo of Newburyport.
  • Sophomores Ashlee Chaput, Corinna Corriveau and Brian Skaff, all of Haverhill.
  • Freshmen Arianna Connor, Mackenzie Harris, Antonio Infante, Emily Silva, Alexis Smith, all of Haverhill, and Jenna McCoy and Margo Springer, both of Newburyport.

The finale of the evening will include a visit from Santa. Admission is free.
