Groveland Water and Sewer Department Repairing Water Main Leak
GROVELAND — Superintendent Thomas Cusick reports that the Groveland Water and Sewer Department is working to repair a water main leak around Ashcroft Terrace and Ashcroft Circle this morning.
The leak was discovered last week during the department’s annual leak detection, and residents in the affected area were notified of the reduction of service via the Town of Groveland’s E-Alerts system.
The overall impact is expected to be minimal, with homes experiencing little or no pressure for the morning with rust-colored water lingering into the later afternoon or early evening. Once service is restored, customers on Ashcroft Terrace, Ashcroft Circle, Rocky Woods, Evergreen and King Street should run their water until it appears clear.
Service is expected to be restored by noon.
Residents are highly encouraged to sign up for the town’s E-Alerts at https://www.grovelandma.com/subscribe.
