Developer to Host Information Session About Powder Mill Road Project in Maynard

MAYNARD — Town Administrator Kevin Sweet is pleased to announce that the developer of a proposed multi-family project in town will be hosting an information session next month.

The information session will be held on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Maynard Public Library, 77 Nason St.

The proposed 254 unit project is slated to be built on Powder Mill Road near the Acton-Maynard town line. Joel Kahn of Equity Alliance LLC, a representative for the developer, Apartments at Powder Mill LLC, will be available to answer questions and provide information on the project, including engineering and traffic studies completed to date.

“We want to ensure that our residents have all of the information, and most importantly, accurate information,” Town Administrator Sweet said. “When you are dealing with a project of any size, it can be a bit of a challenge to make sure that the public has correct information and we hope to remedy that with this meeting.”

Town Administrator Sweet added that this meeting has been arranged by the developer, and the Town will have no role at this event.
