Dedham Fire Department to Host Blood Drive

DEDHAM — Chief William Spillane is pleased to announce that the Dedham Fire Department will be hosting a blood drive aboard the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital Blood Mobile.

WHEN

Sunday, Nov. 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WHERE

Dedham Fire Headquarters, 436 Washington St.

WHAT

The Dedham Fire Department and the Kraft Family Blood Donor Center at Dana Farber Institute would like to invite residents to donate blood aboard the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital Blood Mobile.

“On behalf of the entire fire department, we’re proud to help out and host this event,” Chief Spillane said. “We encourage anyone who is able to donate to join us on the 26th and help someone in need.”

Dedham Fire reminds residents to bring a photo ID, be well hydrated and eat before donating blood. Those who choose to donate will receive a warm winter scarf.
